MANYA KROBO EYE CARE MISSION

What to Expect

From First Mission to Expanded Care in Manya Krobo Land (Lower and Upper Manya)

In the past year, Stichting Licht voor het Oog (Foundation Light for the Eye) carried out its first humanitarian eye-care mission in the Volta Region of Ghana, where many people were screened and identified with urgent and untreated vision problems. This initial work was followed by eye-care outreach in the Adzato Electoral Area, where screenings continued and prescription glasses were prepared for community members in need.
